Yesterday, the GameXbar.com site was partially disabled in support of the Internet's SOPA/PIPA Blackout Protest. Full site services returned on 01.19.2012. Why? Because it is the right thing to do. GameXbar fully supports the rights of copyright and trademark holders, the protection of intellectual properties of artists, composers, creators, developers, distributors, licensors, studios and others. All GameXbars for Firefox have been rolled back to version 3.8.0.8. This restores the interface and grouping function for now. If you like the 10.x.x.x version, great... you can keep using it. But if you are frustrated by 10.x.x.x or need grouping back, go to the download page and reinstall your GameXbar. If you have questions, please ask. |

GameXbar is celebrating four years of serving the MMO community... 2009 has been an amazing year!
GameXbar has gone "social"... you can now follow GameXbar on Facebook , Twitter & YouTube; and every GameXbar now includes links and feeds to the social contacts for the game and devs of your MMO community. Every GameXbar is now TRUSTe certified as a trusted download. Met a lot players and devs in person again at several shows, PAX 2009 (where my car caught fire), and even a visit to the EA Mythic studios in Fairfax, VA.
With lots of projects in the works and a busier show schedule... 2010 looks to be a banner year for GameXbar. Again I would like to thank the players, developers, games, fansites, and everyone in the community for all the support and success. Thank you all! |
